Rain, rain, go away!
Come again some other day!
Me and Papa sit in wait,
To do this chore if we may.
Papa says it must be done,
To keep things safe for us little ones.
And I can't play with things like this,
There's too much danger we might miss.
So if you could, rain please go,
Then me and Papa, we can mow.
And I can play as little boys should,
Me and Papa, we sure would.

This is so cute...that boy sure thinks a lot of his papa. And he would live outside if he could.
ReplyDeleteLove this memory of them and their adventures.

It most certainly is precious! There is no other love than the love for a grandchild. I know, I have two! I saw that you live in Oklahoma. If you dont mind... What part. I was raised in Moore, OK. and now live in WA. but I miss it very much!

ReplyDeleteI know just where that is... Used to have a friend that lived there and was "in love!" with a little cowboy who lived in NewCastle so I would go stay the weekends with her... That was such a long time ago... Puts a smile on my face though as if it were yesterday!
Sorry about my blog being such a mess in the middle of switching over to 3 columns instead of 2. Should of done it in the first place....
Have a great evening. I will be watching for those photos!
